Student Papers

The Journal of Animal Law, Ethics and One Health (LEOH) also publishes very good seminar papers, bachelor's and master's theses in order to promote the work of young academics in the field of animal law and the discussion of animal law and animal ethics issues as well as the One Health approach and its perspectives for law and ethics.

The publication of papers is free of charge for students. The authors retain the copyright to their work and only grant LEOH the right to publish and archive the articles on HOPE. HOPE stands for “Hauptbibliothek Open Publishing Environment” and is a service of the University Library Zurich (UB), Switzerland, in the field of scientific publishing with Open Access. All articles published on the LEOH website are freely available online as Open Access publications after publication.

A letter of recommendation from the supervising professor recommending the paper for publication must be submitted with the paper. The paper will then be reviewed by the journal's editorial team. The final decision on the acceptance and publication of a paper is entirely at the discretion of the editors.

Interested students should contact the journal’s editor Dr. Eveline Schneider Kayasseh directly (eveline.schneider@ius.uzh.ch).
