EU: 2023 status report of alternatives to animal testing at the JRC is published

The ultimate goal of relevant EU policy in this area is the complete replacement of animal testing. According to a press release issued today, the contributions of Joint Research Centre (JRC) scientists at the European Union Reference Laboratory for Alternatives to Animal Testing (EURL ECVAM) have been instrumental to moving closer to this objective over the past year. A newly published report summarises ECVAM's achievements in 2023.
